Our Wedding Celebration Story...

We are supporting donating to breast cancer because of a wonderful story that came out of a great cause. My colleague at work runs a silent auction every year during Breast Cancer awareness month in October. This past October (2011) Eric and I decided to bid on a party at Bravo Brasserie for 150 people. The food will be provided by restaurant, and bar will be stocked by Sam Adams and Beringer Wines. Eric and I were the highest bidders that evening for this item and won, hence our beautiful wedding reception that we will be having at Bravo Brasserie November 18, 2012. The best part about this whole story is the entire bid went to breast cancer! We feel so lucky being able to help out an incredible cause and share this story with all our friends and family.

Counting Down...

Meg Heriot just finished our engagement photos and we love them. Who would have known 3 years ago Eric and I would be counting down to our wedding day in just a few short 6 months. Summer 2012 in Newport is shaping up to be a great one. We have the America's Cup trials coming at the end of June, the tall ships around the 4th of July, and of course all the usual music and food festivals you can handle! Mom and Dad are sailing up for the summer and I am certainly looking forward to spending time with them.

2012 is bringing some exciting plans into our lives!

Eric - Is the General Manager at the new Aquidneck Lobster company restaurant right on the water in Newport harbor. With the America's cup trials coming to town this summer this new place is going to be nothing short of AMAZING!

Sarah - I have been nominated along with one other person in the entire Northeast region of the US with Coca-Cola for their Sales and Commercial Leadership program. If I am selected, I will start a 2 year accelerated program training in different parts of the business with a new Leadership role waiting at the end... Life is really good.

With these amazing changes and exciting opportunities we have decided to move the wedding until November. Eric and I will be flying away just the two of us to Anse Chastanet in St Lucia for a 10 day dream wedding/honeymoon vacation...

Florida Christmas 2011

My New Years resolution is to update our blog more! SO this Christmas we got to spend a couple days with my parents in Florida. The weather was perfect and it is always good to see my mom and dad. It was Eric's FIRST time in Disney World and we packed our short stay with long days to try and show him everything! First day was MGM and I got him to go on the Tower of Terror...what a mistake! We ended the first day with dinner in Epcot followed by a candlelight choir ceremony and the Christmas firework display. The second day it was just Eric and I and we spent the day at my favorite part, Sea World. Eric loved all the shows and was in awe at how smart these animals are! That afternoon we watched the Patriots win over a couple drinks at Planet Holleywood and had dinner at Rainforest Cafe after a little shopping. Monday was Animal Kingdom day...again one of my favorites and ended with Osborne Family of Lights at MGM. The last day of our trip was spent waking up and relaxing with the family as we celebrated our "Christmas" together. We had Mom & Dad's fireplace going (electric) and it really made the trip. We opened up presents...laughed and cryed. It was hard waking up on our first Christmas without our little Pretzel. (Our family dog who went to doggy heaven Dec 15th). Needless to say it was a wonderful trip and Eric even talks about moving down there someday!
