My beautiful ring...
12.20.2010

So Eric and I have decided that this is forever! Even though we have both discussed this and started saving for a May 2012 wedding date he surprised me the other night with a beautiful ring to show our love for each other. I could not have met a better person that just gets me...we just get each other. We have both hit the lowest of lows and the highest of highs and have come out on top every time. If we can do that we can do anything...
we are soulmates till the end :)

Back in Newport

Eric and Sarah have been settling down in their new home back in Newport, RI. They have found a great apartment off of Broadway and are putting it together piece by piece. Eric is working at Castle Hill and Sarah has been working at the Landing and Benjamin's Raw bar. Just recently Eric has been offered a position within NHC and we will see where this road leads for him...we are both very excited. Sarah although she has been trying to get back into the corporate world, got a new job at Sardella's, one of the busiest restaurants in Newport, year round! Things are going really well and finally financially getting our feet back on the ground... feels good!
Since we have back in Newport we have been able to watch two great couples get hitched, Tayla & Brian and John & Tiff, congratulations to both of them...hugs!
Now just looking forward to the holidays, visiting with family, and hunkering down for the winter season!

Colorado

Colorado brought new friends, challenges, adventures, and happiness. Eric clocked more than 100 days on his board this season! Sarah was trying to keep up but with work, and a knee injury her days fell short of his. We had Eric's parents visit us during Thanksgiving and Sarah's parents came at Christmas so the holidays did not skip a beat. The winter here was just average snowfall, but we all got a great Spring season in with late storms in the mountains. We took a day trip in April to Steamboat Springs and relaxed in the Strawberry natural hot springs, wow what an amazing day. Then June brought us to Moab...this took both of our breaths away. Pictures tell the story more than words can. Our travels were few because of our budget which only made us think about our careers and where we wanted to be in the next 5 years. This past July we came to a decision to move back to Newport and build our lives and careers there for the long-term. Our goodbyes will be tearful as we have many wonderful friends and family in Colorado that will surely be missed. Onto the next chapter...
